The garland is made using various raw-cut cotton fabric strips, burlap ribbon, and grosgrain ribbon that range between 8" and 10" long. They are tied onto a thick strand of twine. The overall length of the fabric portion is 5 feet long with roughly 12" of additional twine on each end for easy hanging.
Because these garlands are made using vintage fabrics, new fabrics, and various types of ribbon, each one will have its own unique characteristics. However, the overall pattern, color combination, and theme will be the same.

Garland care:
To ensure your garland lasts for years to come, any stains should be spot-cleaned only. Over time, there will be some natural fraying of the fabric, which only adds to its shabby chic style. If you prefer the strips to have a cleaner edge, however, any stray strands may be easily cut with scissors.
